Tonight was the Picnic for the Jesters. This year we were at a new venue and tried a few different items from what has been done in the past. Some seemed to work while others maybe not so much. The good thing is that they were willing to try something new. While it often easier and "safer" to just do the same as was done last time, over time people will get tired of the same thing and attendance will start to fall off. In many cases I have seen a huge event actually disappear because no one was willing to take a chance to change something. Hat's off to our Director Stan Brookins for trying something a little different.
